About Our Program
Welcome to Creative Hearts, a licensed family childcare home in Walnut Creek, California. We provide a nurturing, home-like environment where children ages 2-5 can learn, grow, and thrive through play-based learning and meaningful interactions.
Our program is designed to support each child's unique developmental journey. We believe that children learn best through hands-on exploration, creative expression, and positive relationships. Our daily curriculum includes age-appropriate activities in literacy, math, science, arts, music, and physical development.

At Creative Hearts, we embrace a child-centered approach that honors each child's interests, abilities, and learning style. We create a warm, inclusive environment where children feel safe to explore, ask questions, and express themselves. Our small group setting allows for individualized attention and strong relationships between children, families, and caregivers.

Owner & Lead Educator
Hello! I'm Sarah, and I've been providing quality childcare in Walnut Creek for over 10 years. My passion for early childhood education began when I became a mother myself and realized the profound impact that nurturing, play-based learning has on young minds.
I hold a degree in Early Childhood Education and maintain current certifications in CPR, First Aid, and Child Development. My approach combines structured learning with plenty of creative play, outdoor exploration, and social-emotional development.
At Creative Hearts, every child is treated like family. I believe in creating a warm, home-like environment where children feel safe, loved, and excited to learn every day. I work closely with parents to ensure each child's individual needs are met and their unique personalities shine.
